Kyle Stahl

Founding Co-Host

Kyle Stahl is the creator and driving force behind What Matters Is Perspective. He is a devoted father of three, an entrepreneur, and a man committed to personal growth and owning his story. Kyle’s credibility comes from his willingness to speak honestly about his life… the failures, the lessons, and the rebuilding… instead of pretending he has it all figured out. His leadership on WMIP is built on vulnerability, reflection, and real-life experience, not theory.

Where Kyle Stahl’s Journey Really Began

Kyle Stahl’s motivation for WMIP comes from the hard road he had to walk to become the man he is trying to be today. His life wasn’t shaped by a single moment… it was shaped by years of internal battles he spent too long trying to hide or outrun. He walked through seasons of regret, broken relationships, business failures, and emotional setbacks that forced him to confront the truth about himself.

Becoming a father was the first major turning point. Becoming a father who wanted to grow was the second. Kyle Stahl has always loved his kids deeply, but he’s honest about the fact that he didn’t always show up the way they deserved. Poor decisions, misplaced priorities, and unresolved parts of himself created tension, distance, and moments he wishes he could undo.

Then came the move… a major uprooting that took him and his children across the country, away from the only world they had ever known. Kyle Stahl had finally felt like he was building the right relationships in Michigan… healthy friendships, community support, and stability he had spent years trying to find. But he made a choice he thought a father should make. He put his kid’s needs, their environment, and the pressure of everyone’s wants ahead of his own comfort.

So he agreed to the move to Alabama, not because it was easy, but because he believed cooperating and keeping peace within the co-parenting dynamic was the right thing to do. That decision required maturity, sacrifice, and a level of trust that stretched him farther than he was prepared for.

The move cracked him open.
It forced him to confront who he had been, what needed to change, and who he wanted to become.
It exposed the gaps in his emotional health, his identity, and his direction… and became the catalyst for everything he would eventually grow into.

But change does not happen all at once.
It took time. It took humility. It took failure.

Four years after the move… after countless ups, downs, a failed relationship, personal missteps, and quiet moments of reflection… Kyle Stahl finally realized that if he wanted life to change, he had to change. He doesn’t have it all figured out, but he made a promise to try. To be disciplined. To grow. To be 1% Better Every Day.

During that same season of reflection, something else shifted. Scott had just received an update on his diagnosis, and the weight of that reality pushed both men into a new level of honesty. Their conversations started to carry a different kind of depth. Scott talked about wanting his kids to have something real to hold onto… something they could come back to long after today. He wanted their dad’s voice, his lessons, and his perspective preserved for them.

Scott became a major factor in moving forward with the idea. His courage, his vulnerability, his positive outlook and his desire to leave behind a legacy for his children pushed Kyle to stop waiting and start building. WMIP wasn’t just about Kyle’s growth anymore. It became a way to honor Scott’s journey and protect the pieces of his story his kids deserve to keep forever.

During that internal shift, Kyle Stahl realized he had two choices:
keep repeating the old patterns or finally break them.

And that is where WMIP was born.

It became his way of turning pain into purpose, confusion into clarity, and growth into something his kids could one day understand. His greatest motivation is ensuring his children see a father who didn’t run from his past… he rose from it. He rebuilt from it. He chose to become better because they deserved better.

The Legacy Kyle Stahl Is Building Through WMIP

Kyle Stahl’s mission is to build a space where honesty matters more than image, where growth is measured in real steps forward, and where men can talk about life without feeling weak for doing so. He believes that perspective is powerful not because it changes what you have been through, but because it changes what you do next.

Through WMIP, Kyle Stahl is reshaping what fatherhood, accountability, and personal growth look like in real time. He wants other men to see that rebuilding does not require perfection… it requires honesty, consistency, and the humility to own your story.
He uses the podcast as a way to confront his past, model accountability for his kids, and show what it looks like to grow openly and intentionally.

His impact is not in claiming to have the answers.
His impact is in showing the work.

Every episode becomes part of his legacy… a breadcrumb trail of lessons, perspective, and truth that his kids can follow long after today. And for listeners, Kyle’s story is proof that your past does not get the final say. Growth is available. Change is possible. And becoming a better father, partner, friend, and human being starts with one choice… to see your life through a new lens.
